"WE ARE ALWAYS WITH TIDER WITH OUR SUPPORT"
CarrefourSA General Manager Kutay Kartallıoğlu, in his assessment, underlined that they have been in cooperation with TİDER for seven years, and that more than 500 tons of products were saved from waste and delivered to more than 20 thousand people, and said:
“As CarrefourSA, we believe that the welfare level of the society should be at a sufficient level in order to raise the young generations, who make up the future of Turkey, in a good way. In this direction, we are honored to support projects that will contribute to TIDER, and therefore to people in need, within the scope of our ongoing cooperation with TIDER. In this context, all income from the bags that Raşit Bağzıbağlı, one of the designers trained in our country, specially designed to be sold in CarrefourSA and started to take place in our markets with the slogan Bi' Bag is Goodness, will be transferred to TİDER. In this project, we support TİDER together with our customers, because they will buy the bags, and the support for TİDER will increase. As CarrefourSA, we always say "Support LazımSA" and we stand by TIDER. We see this project as one of the steps we have taken towards Zero Waste with the ban on the use of plastic bags. As CarrefourSA, we aim to completely end the use of plastic bags with such projects at a time when the use of plastic bags in our markets has decreased by up to 90 percent.”
HANDE TİBUK: "BI' BAG GOODNESS IS ONLY ONE OF THE STEPS TAKEN TO PREVENT WASTE"
TİDER Chairman of the Board of Directors Hande Tibuk stated that they are happy to develop projects that will support their successful cooperation with CarrefourSA since February 2012 and said: Again, we have a vision to support our little friends through animal shelters and animal volunteers in every province, and to prevent waste by turning organic waste into energy and fertilizer through biogas and compost facilities in every province. By working with all NGOs, public and private sector organizations that support this vision and share the same values as us, we make significant contributions to our country's zero waste vision. One of the pillars of this contribution was the tote bags designed by the famous designer Raşit Bağzıbağlı, which started to be sold in CarrefourSA markets. The bags to be sold with the Bi' Bag Goodness project will contribute to our efforts to prevent waste as income for TİDER.”
Raşit Bağzıbağlı: “I wanted a bag of goodness and support for TİDER”
Explaining his views on the bags he designed, Raşit Bağzıbağlı underlined that they especially focused on the designs that women can choose; “I am very happy that we have implemented a project that I especially care about spiritually in order to prevent waste. I would like the project, which we call Bi' Bag Goodness due to its lofty purpose, to continue for many years. We have prepared tote bags with two different designs mixed with fashion from life. When people use these bags, they will both reduce the use of nylon and use stylish bags. I believe that such special bags will attract attention, especially in the period when the use of plastic bags has decreased to a great extent and we have made an important progress in terms of zero waste.”
