What is 5S?

5S is a workplace organization methodology of Japanese origin and consists of five steps:

Seiri (Sorting): Separate everything that is unnecessary.

Seiton (Edit): Put everything in its place.

Seiso (Cleanliness): Maintain a clean and orderly environment.

Seiketsu (Standardization): Standardize practices.

Shitsuke (Discipline): Maintain discipline and consistency.
